The first ever Great British Tennis Weekend, a way for everyone to enjoy free tennis, took place at various sites across the country from August 17-18. Devised to encourage people into the sport who have been inspired by an incredible 12 months in British tennis with Grand Slam victories and London 2012 medals.

People of all ages and abilities just turned up to play with all the equipment and coaching provided for free.  Tennis Factory was delighted to be featured as part of the programme at both Exhibition Park in Newcastle and Bowring Park in Telford.
