Over the past ten years Irish Cricket has risen to new heights with interest and participation reaching levels beyond what has ever been known before and Tuesday the 3rd September marked a significant event in the history of this sport -  Ireland played England in the RSA Challenge at ‘Fortress Malahide’, and Cricket Factory announced their partnership with Cricket Ireland.

Linking with National Development Manager, Tim Simmonite, Factory Eleven operated a speed throw rig and skills challenge using the Cricket Factory Core Skill Set within a Bannerzone as part of the spectator experience that had been organised around the match.

Over 1200 adults, young people and children from both sets of fans visited the Cricket Factory zone throughout the game.

Earlier in the week Factory Eleven delivered Cricket Ireland’s own Bannerzones and Cricket Factory Core Skill Sets and their Development officers from the organisation attended a training session with the Cricket Factory team.

Over the next few months, the Bannerzones and Cricket Factory Core Skill Sets will be integrated into Cricket Irelands development plan, which will see them being used in clubs and schools around the country.
